Lenses

All BOD lenses are produced digitally and individually. These lenses are designed to settle the ordinary and the most difficult vision problems.

Single vision lenses are used to solve most common vision conditions such as short-sightedness (myopia), long-sightedness (hyperopia) or astigmatism.

Patients who have short-sightedness see close objects well but struggle with images at a distance as they look blurry or appear with shadows around objects. Meanwhile, people with long-sightedness or hyperopia can see distant objects clearly but things nearby may seem blurry.

What are single vision lenses?

The entire lens has the same amount of vision correction; therefore, they can solve only one vision problem: near-sightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Usually, single vision lenses are prescribed for adults under 45 because their eye muscles can flex the eye to change its focal distance. Single vision lenses are the only type needed for young adults.

OKOS LENS

Seeking to improve the traditional custom single vision lens, the advanced version of single lenses was introduced to the optical market - OKOS LENS.

OKOS LENS allows one to see well at any distance, unlike the traditional single vision lenses, mainly prescribed for distance vision. Nowadays, we spend more time on digital screens, and there is a need to have an agile vision at all distances – near and far focused. OKOS LENS® are perfect for that!

OKOS LENS® accommodates the object space. It not only mathematically compensates oblique aberrations but also adds the intelligent use of the wearer’s accommodation. Minor adjustments allow viewing objects at different distances. Because of the extreme reduction of oblique aberrations through the visual field, wearers can enjoy impeccable visual quality, greater comfort, more accurate focus, and outstanding visual sharpness. The patient’s visual comfort is not affected because minor adjustments are made within a threshold.

These single vision lenses bring unbeatable aesthetics because they are about 20% thinner than single or traditional custom lenses. Therefore, our customers have an opportunity to choose appealing frames with new shapes and stylish designs. Discover the freedom of choices with OKOS LENS!

Who is the ideal fit for OKOS LENS?

OKOS LENS is a perfect match for those with no symptoms of presbyopia or digital eyestrain.

The new generation of OKOS LENS provides the following benefits:

  • Personalized single vision lenses for any distance and focus range;
  • Much thinner lenses for any prescription and frame design;
  • Outstanding visual quality and sharpness in any direction;
  • Optimization of the accommodative space;
  • The reduction of oblique aberrations;
  • Precise and agile vision.

DIGITAL SCREEN lenses are tailored for patients who spend most of their day in front of electronic devices. These lenses perfectly adjust to a modern lifestyle. Digital screen protection lenses with BLUE420 material or Blue Balance coating block the blue-violet light emitted from digital devices that are harmful to the eyes.

EYE CHI

EYE CHI is a newly designed formula for spectacle lenses that focuses on comfort and high- quality. EYE CHI spectacle lenses will solve three issues caused by harmful light emitted from electronic devices – eyestrain, dryness, and redness.

The ancient Chinese medicine theory inspires EYE CHI lenses. According to Chinese philosophy, the significance of CHI is all around us and is vital for our bodies.

Let the EYE CHI lenses bring you harmony and eagle vision!

EYE CHI lenses' unique manufacturing method helps reduce eyestrain, dryness, redness, and blurred vision. It is also easier to focus on small objects, which speeds up the reading up to 34%.

EYE CHI blue light filtering lenses are suitable for over 16 years old and for those who wear eyeglasses for reading and working with digital screens. These lenses provide an additional available option: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.00 dioptres.

NO TENSE III

NO TENSE III is a unique single–focal spectacle lens with support for those who spend a lot of time looking at close objects. The authentic feature of these lenses is that their optical power gradually increases towards the bottom of the lens.

With the unique design of NO TENSE III lenses, the top quality of vision is provided with no tension to the eye muscles giving maximum comfort while working at close distances.

These blue light lenses are the most suitable for young patients experiencing visual fatigue when working on digital devices for more than 3-4 hours a day and people with presbyopia.

NO TENSE III blue screen lenses provide an outstanding quality image at close range and dramatically reduce the symptoms of visual fatigue, which causes eye redness, pain, burning and dry eyes, double vision, muscle tension and cramping.

We suggest continuously wearing NO TENSE III blue block lenses like ordinary distance spectacle lenses.

At the age of 40 to 45 majority will experience presbyopia which is a part of the natural ageing process occurring because of the gradual loss of accommodative amplitude. The closest viewing point moves away from the eye so that a person can no longer read, write, work, and perform other daily tasks from an average distance.

What are progressive lenses?

The best solution for presbyopia is progressive lenses with special lenses design (gradual changing of dioptres), ensuring an impeccable vision at every distance. Our progressive lenses are visually invisible and do not differ from ordinary lenses.

Progressive lenses are divided into soft and hard design lenses.

Soft design progressive lenses are characterized by a broad and comfortable intermediate zone, long corridor of progression, more excellent range of eye movements, less distortion around the periphery of the lenses, and narrower distance and near areas. They are recommended for hypermetropia and for those who move their head more.

Contrary, hard design progressive lenses are narrower. They have a less comfortable intermediate zone, a short corridor of progression, less eye and head movement amplitude, better peripheral astigmatism, floating effect, and wide, comfortable distance and near areas. Hard design lenses are suitable for those who have myopia and anisometropia.

Progressive lens designs

In terms of different fields of view, the progressive lenses are divided into Full Screen, Velveto, Natura, MultiFit and Effecto designs. These designs are customized for every client personally based on their needs, lifestyle, and prescription. Opticians will select the most suitable design individually.

Natura

Progressive lenses Natura uses a new method of calculating the surface that dramatically improves the sharpness of peripheral vision and dramatically expands the field of clear vision at far distances and close objects and creating a smooth wide corridor. Natura lens design is the perfect choice for those who haven’t used progressive lenses before because it adapts to eyes rapidly and easily where the fields of vision are symmetric. These lenses come only in soft design.

Full Screen

Full Screen premium progressive lenses are designed for the modern person who spends much time using various digital screens. The authentic design of these lenses is optimized for vision in the mid -to-short range, featuring a more expansive zone of sight than in standard progressive lenses. With Full Screen progressive lenses, eyes adjust quickly to the digital device offering a broader field of vision and effortless change to seeing distance. Full Screen progressive lenses are improved with Smart Add and Digital Ray-Path technologies.

MultiFit

MultiFit progressive lenses are characterized by impeccable quality with cutting-edge Free Form technology offering a smooth transition between different vision zones. With MultiFit progressive lenses, the field of sight is broader and stable, and lenses provide high–quality vision to any dioptres giving a natural and clear image at any distance – near, intermediate, or far. The design of the lenses is integrated with Digital Ray-Path and Inset technologies. Multifit lenses are available in two design types – soft and hard.

Velveto

Velveto progressive lenses are newly designed lenses with outstandingly soft transitions between viewing zones. These progressive lenses were created exceptionally for our BOD Lenses laboratory, meeting the needs of our clients. Velveto progressive lenses have broader reading and mid-range zones and have the same distance zone as the MultiFit progressive lenses. They are suitable for those who wear soft design lenses and are more sensitive because the lenses adapt faster.

Effecto

The BOD Lenses laboratory recently created Effecto progressive lenses. They have a unique front surface with a variable base curse that is individually selected for each patient according to the prescription. With Effecto progressive lenses, the best quality of vision for people with presbyopia is achieved by combining optical lens curves on both lens surfaces.

 Effecto high–definition progressive lenses differ in increased reading zone areas that are easier to find and improved distance vision.

Bifocal lenses are used for correcting two areas of vision (distance and reading) and are mainly suitable for senior patients and wearers with special needs. Bifocals have a correction for distance vision on the top of the lens and a correction to help read on the bottom.

Bifocal lenses are manufactured with Free-Form technology and premium coatings, offering a wide selection of dioptres and diameters. Although progressive lenses successfully replace bifocal lenses, bifocals are often selected by customers preferring a conservative look.

How do bifocals work?

Bifocals provide a clear distinction between near and far vision prescription within a lens. The significant difference between progressive lenses and bifocal is a distinct line separating the powers.

BIFO FT-28

BIFO FT – 28 are bifocal lenses with a segment for reading, designed with two different vision correction areas, divided by a distinct line that goes horizontally across the lens. These executive bifocal lenses are used for distance and reading correction.

BIFO FT - 28 is a must-have for those who need two pairs of glasses and conservative users who got used to bifocals.

BIFO DIGITAL

BIFO DIGITAL are modern bifocals produced using the Free Form technology that is highly aesthetic due to the invisible lower segment. This type of bifocals provides an impeccable vision correction in the far and near areas.

BIFO DIGITAL is an authentic combination of progressive and bifocal lenses design that improves vision and brings a cosmetically attractive look.

These bifocal lenses are recommended for users who cannot get used to the progressive lenses but want to see far distance and reading zones. Contrary to BIFO ROUND and BIFO FT – 28, BIFO DIGITAL lenses offer a smooth transition and invisible near segment. This type of bifocal lens is perfect for those who frequently use near and far areas and rarely medium working zone.

BIFO ROUND

BIFO ROUND is an exceptionally innovative design produced with Free Form technology with a digital round segment created for the reading area. The digital round segment offers broad fields of clear vision for reading and distance. These bifocals ensure high visual quality with no "image jump" between zones. The diameter of the add segment is available in 28 mm.

BIFO ROUND bifocal lenses are ideal for presbyopia and prefer bifocals instead of progressive lenses and those who hesitate to try progressive lenses.

Indoor lenses are created for reading and middle vision zones. These lenses are designed for those who spend much time reading and working at the office or other indoor surroundings.

The effective field of view of indoor lenses is up to 4 meters. These lenses ensure comfortable vision at a limited distance. Unlike general progressive lenses, including all visual zones (far, near and medium), indoor or office lenses are limited to close or medium distances.

OFFICE

The OFFICE lenses are degressive ones, tailored for reading and office work as they optimise near vision. The reading zone is larger in OFFICE lenses than in other lenses. OFFICE lenses are designed for each person individually, choosing the required distance (1.3m, 2m or 4m).

These lenses are the best solution for reading and working on digital screens because they have a wide field of sight and bring outstanding comfort near or intermediate distances. The soft design with the clear transition zone helps avoid getting digital eye strains or computer vision syndrome.

VIDE

VIDE are reading lenses manufactured in the BOD Lenses laboratory for your comfort while working on the computer or other digital screens. VIDE lenses are mainly created for wearing indoors, and they provide an impeccable vision quality at medium or far distances.

With these lenses, clients can direct their gaze at close objects and focus on small details. These lenses are manufactured with a digression of 0.75D.

When choosing lenses for the little one’s parents should pay attention to a few key areas. The lenses for children need to be light and thin but tough as children move around a lot, preferably with scratch-resistant and anti-reflective coatings.

Our organic JUNIOR lenses with Clarus reflection coating are safe for children because they are unbreakable and will not damage their eyes. BOD JUNIOR lenses are incredibly light and have a minor diameter; therefore, they offer a comfortable wearing experience for the child.

Nowadays, children spend more time using various screens leading to harmful effects such as myopia, digital eye syndrome or Computer Visual Syndrome (CVS). Our JUNIOR lenses are covered either with Blue Balance coating or Blue 420 material, decreasing the risk of such conditions.

The Clarus II lens coating protects the lenses from scratching, impurity, harmful UV rays, and electronic devices. Lenses for children are suitable even for those with a high – degree of myopia. They are aesthetically pleasing and lightweight, which means you can avoid wearing thick frames and massive lenses.

Bring the joy of clear vision to your children with JUNIOR lenses!
